Introduction to Robotics and Artificial Intelligence

Robotics is an imperative development that is related to the well-being of all individuals. A Robot is a useful gadget, multitasking operator sketched to move objects, parts, tools or specific devices through variable programmed motions for the execution of a variety of tasks. Robots are the largest developing Technological gadgets in the world. They perform many roles varying from space exploration to entertainment. Robots can be used in any circumstances and for any purpose, but today several are applied in hazardous environments, casting processes, or where humans cannot sustain. Robots can be changed in any form but few are made to resemble humans in appearance.

Artificial Intelligence is a performance based-system idea in a robot. It brings an innovative route to the robot to have the option to render help to people inalterable and dynamic situations. It is a process of making a machine, a computer-operated robot or a software thinks logically, in a comparable manner the creative humans imagine. It is performed by analyzing how the human brain conceives and how humans learn, decide, and work while seeking to solve a query, and then using the results of this study as a basis of progressing intelligent software and systems.

Robots are the largest growing technological devices in the world. They perform many functions ranging from space exploration to entertainment. Robots can be used in any situation and for any purpose, but today many are used in dangerous environments, manufacturing processes, or where humans cannot survive. Robots can take on any form but some are made to resemble humans in appearance. This is said to help in the acceptance of a robot in certain replicative behaviours usually performed by people. Such robots attempt to replicate walking, lifting, speech, cognition, and basically anything a human can do. Many of today's robots are inspired by nature, contributing to the field of bio-inspired robotics.

Human–robot interaction is a multidisciplinary field with contributions from human–computer interaction, artificial intelligencerobotics, natural language understanding, design, and social sciences. Human–robot interaction has been a topic of both science fiction and academic speculation even before any robots existed. Because HRI depends on knowledge of (sometimes natural) human communication, many aspects of HRI are continuations of human communications topics that are much older than robotics.

To operate using the Robotic system, your surgeon makes tiny incisions in your body and inserts miniaturized instruments and a high-definition three-dimensional camera, and sometimes skin incisions are not required at all. Then, from a nearby console, your surgeon manipulates those instruments to perform the operation.
Think of the Robotics Surgery system like a video game. When you play a video game, you move a control button, and the machine translates your movements into real-time, mimicking your moves precisely on the screen. During a Robotic-assisted procedure, your surgeon uses master controls to manipulate the instruments, and the instruments translate your surgeon’s movements into precise movements inside your body. Your surgeon is in control the whole time; the surgical system responds to the direction he provides.

An autonomous robot is a robot that performs behaviors or tasks with a high degree of autonomy, which is particularly desirable in fields such as spaceflight, household maintenance (such as cleaning), waste water treatment and delivering goods and services. Some modern factory robots are "autonomous" within the strict confines of their direct environment. It may not be that every degree of freedom exists in their surrounding environment, but the factory robot's workplace is challenging and can often contain chaotic, unpredicted variables. One important area of robotics research is to enable the robot to cope with its environment whether this is on land, underwater, in the air, underground, or in space.

Its algorithm and site ranking and results are firmly in the realm of data science. If you’ve uploaded a photo on Facebook and the social media platform suggested tagging a friend, you’ve interacted with data science. That Netflix recommendation to continue your binge watching, Amazon’s product recommendations, or targeted advertisements are all the result of data science.

Market Analysis

The global robotics process automation market size was valued at Japan 1.40 billion in 2019 and is projected to exhibit a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 40.6% from 2020 to 2027. The rising demand for automation of redundant tasks in the business process coupled with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) enhancements is expected to drive the market growth. The automation allows faster implementation, execution, and scaling of huge volumes of data resulting in less time consumption and reduced overhead expense of the companies. Moreover, the remote work scenario due to the COVID-19 pandemic is expected to reshape business operations, wherein companies would be inclined towards opting for Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

Technological advancements have triggered businesses to overcome new challenges aimed to cope with changing consumer demand and requirements. In the recent past, the adoption of RPA has captured the attention of many SMEs and large enterprises. This can be attributed to the ability of RPA to deliver seamless operation coupled with significant value addition from the resources. Organizations worldwide are continually looking to identify processes that can be automated to accelerate productivity. The combination of AI, machine learning, and other cognitive technologies with robotic process automation is expected to reshape the global business environment.

Scope of the Report

The global robotics market is segmented by type, end-user, and region. By type of robots, the market studied is segmented into industrial robots and service robots. Industrial robots are majorly used in the manufacturing industries. Service robots assist human beings, typically by performing tasks.. For instance, industrial robots serve well in the automotive, food and beverage, electronics, metals and mining, plastic and chemical industries. Software solutions offered by vendors, for operating or gathering data from robotic systems, are not considered in the study's scope.
Asia-Pacific is Expected to Hold Major Share
Due to the significant adoption of industrial robots throughout the region, Asia-Pacific is expected to record the highest growth rate over the forecast period. China is dominating the regional adoption rate of robotics due to the massive deployment in the country's governing electronic and automotive manufacturing sectors. As these sectors are developing at a high rate in other economies in the region like India, there is vast potential for growth in the market studied. The regional government is also a significant factor in the development of the regional robotics market. For instance, India plans to invest in military robotics, and by 2023, the country is preparing to deploy advanced robotic soldiers. Also, a New Delhi-based company is building robots for the Indian Army.
