He is currently an Innovator in Residence at Arizona State University for the ShapingEDU project on the future of higher education. Emory is the author of numerous publications on XR, AI, and learning, including the 2017-2018 EDUCAUSE series: “VR and AR: Stepping into the New Frontier of Learning.” He is the co-author of the forthcoming State of XR Report by the Immersive Learning Research Network (iLRN). As a futurist and writer, he explores how the convergence of XR and AI will transform how we learn and our relationships with each other, creating innovative opportunities and unanticipated social and ethical challenges. His work focuses on the personal and organizational strategies we will need to live in a world where experiences are available on-demand, embodied avatars are AI-driven, and the boundary between the real and the virtual disappear.

Dr. Osman Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University in 1980. He became professor in 1996, and he has been retired due to the age limit of 67; following academic life of 45 years.

Dr Crystal Fok is currently the Director for the AIR Platform and Precision Engineering at the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP). She is mainly responsible for the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (A.I.R) initiatives in Science Park to drive innovation and technology for reindustrialisation, especially in Logistics, Construction, Smart manufacturing and Service sectors. Prior to HKSTP, Dr Fok was a Manager at ASTRI, managing a diverse project portfolio, such as market analysis, feasibility studies, product development and technology commercialization. She was also a Consultant at the Hong Kong Productivity Council, managing the optical design team and providing consultancy service on precision manufacturing. Dr Fok received her PhD degree in Mechanical and Automation Engineering from the CUHK and her research interests include A.I., robot arm manipulation, micro-robotics, MEMs and micro-optics.

Rosalia Reyna Torrez Villca completed her studies as a Natural Sciences teacher with a mention in Physics-Chemistry at the E.S.F.M “Simón Rodriguez” and postgraduate studies from the Latin American University and the Postgraduate School of the Bolivian Navy.
